Fender Custom Shop Stevie Ray Vaughan Number One Stratocaster Masterbuilt John Cruz
This is a bucket list Strat for a lot of us here at The Music Zoo! This is a Fender Custom Shop Stevie Ray Vaughan ‘Number One’ replica built by masterbuilder John Cruz. The guitar replicates the original down to every battle-worn scar and check mark, including the cigarette burn under the low-E string on the headstock. It’s built with a 5/4 rift sawn maple neck, select alder ’63-style body and hand-wound Custom Shop pickups. Just like the original, it has a left-handed tremolo bridge for all of the crazy tremolo tricks Stevie performed on his guitar. This guitar includes the original road case and leather gigbag along with the certificate of authenticity and all case candy, including a DVD of the making of the guitar and photos of Stevie with the original. The guitar remains original down to the factory strings through the plastic wire bridge sleeves.
