1957 Fender Telecaster Blonde
Lightweight and lively, this is a really great playing 1957 Telecaster. The hardware, frets and electronics are all original. The “V” profiled neck has been oversprayed with lacquer, extending to the fretboard as well where there were heavier wear spots. The overspray is only on the back of the neck and board, not over the headstock or logo. The finish otherwise is all original! The guitar has a March ’57 neck date with a February ’57 body date. A small piece of masking tape is still in the pickup cavity with the name of a factory worker signed on it, though by now it’s too faint to read legibly – though it certainly does add to the cool factor of this guitar. The original ‘knucklebuster’ case and ashtray bridge cover are included with this guitar. It’s super light too – coming in at only 6 lbs, 15 oz.!
