1957 Gretsch 6129 Silver Jet
Here’s a classic Gretsch model that’s always fun to see. A 1957 Model 6129 Silver Jet with that famous silver sparkle finish. This guitar had some work done to it in the 1960s: Gretsch replaced the neck entirely on the guitar, so the neck has ’60s features, although you can still see the body and electronics are all from ’57 including the etched-in serial number. The guitar has an overall light to medium bit of wear to it as you can see on the fret edges and binding across the top and fretboard. It plays wonderfully and includes the original case!
