1963 Fender Jazzmaster Sunburst
When you see a Jazzmaster that looks like this, you know it’s a good one. This is a 1963 Jazzmaster in Sunburst, with the neck date of “4 JUL 63B”. The guitar has been modified with a Mastery bridge and Descendant tremolo unit. There is wear around the body and finish from being played over its lifetime. The back of the neck has been slightly sanded down from the gloss finish and oversprayed lightly with a satin sealer. The nut has been shimmed, and some small divots in the first few frets of the board have been filled in. These are cosmetic issues which have all come up in the players who have owned the guitar making it suitable to their preferences. This Jazzmaster plays wonderfully, and the Descendant tremolo has a very smooth feel to it. The original hardware is included in the case, along with a very cool piece of paperwork: the original Fender Jazzmaster booklet with a handwritten serial number matching it to this guitar. The case is in overall good condition, all latches work with some tearing on the leather ends.
