1972 Gibson ES-335 TD Iced Tea
This is a very fun vintage ES-335 with a stand-out look to it thanks to the vibrant Iced Tea finish and small block inlays. It’s a 1972 ES-335 TD model that has some changed out parts on it that are sign that it was a well-loved player throughout its life.
The neck has been refretted, with an aftermarket capacitor wired to the original ’70s CTS pots, some changed saddles on the bridge, and there is a set of high-quality ThroBack SLE-101 pickups installed. The guitar had a stopbar tailpiece installed at one point, which is now back to being a trapeze tailpiece and a Gibson ‘Custom Made” plate over the stud holes. The guitar has playwear around the body and scratches as well but nothing affecting the structural integrity. A non-original case is included along with the stopbar studs.
