1980 Greco Super Power Sunburst
A perfect gigging guitar for those who want a single-cut flame top at a super light weight! This is a Greco Super Power model built in Japan dating to 1980. The guitar has chambered body design that puts this one at only 7 lbs, 10 oz. Features include a flame maple veneer on the top (a very nice one at that) with a late ’50s profile to the mahogany neck, a dark rosewood fretboard and trapezoid inlays. The previous owner freshened up the volume controls with new DiMarzio 500k custom taper pots and installed a MojoTone 3-way pickup switch. The guitar has small dents around the body and a crack in the veneer right around the toggle switch that doesn’t seem to be spreading or getting worse. Those who know a good Greco when they see or play one will appreciate this one. It includes an Epiphone hardshell case.
