Dean Gordon Chrome Virtus
This is a lightly used and still super clean (and very cool) Dean Gordon Virtus model with a painted chrome finish over the futuristic body. Dean Gordon is a young luthier from New York City who builds his instruments at his shop in Queens. The designs are familiar, but also very futuristic and forward thinking, combining exotic tonewoods with a hand-shaped 5052 Aircraft grade aluminum lower horn that makes for a very comfortable playing experience when sitting down.
This Chrome Virtus has an aldery body with a quartersawn maple neck, stainless frets that will last a lifetime, and quality Hipshot and Schaller hardware. The McNally pickup has a modern tone that’s great for overdriving an amp with its high output. There is some light wear to the chrome paint – though no flaking or any major scratches. The original heavy duty road case is included.
