Designed for the one and only Joe Satriani, this is the DiMarzio Magnetar humbucker to be a pickup with expressive attack and a sweet lead tone. Powerful, but also dynamic when you back off of the volume. The Magnetar has an Alnico 8 magnet, with custom tuned coils to Joe’s tone. The rich output of the Alnico 8 magnet makes the Magnetar great for hot humbucking tones. The Magnetar is smooth yet bright, with plenty of clarity and distinction. This pickup is available in F-Spacing only.
