Electro-Harmonix Op-Amp Big Muff Pi Fuzz Pedal
The new Op-Amp Big Muff is based on the original “IC” or “V4” Big Muff. The original circuit has been faithfully reproduced, with modern enhancements that won’t impact the tone of the pedal, including true bypass switching and a die-cast chassis. As the name implies, this pedal relies on op-amps instead of transistors for it’s distortion sounds, and 3 gain stages as opposed to the 4 found in most Big Muffs. It features the classic “Sustain, Tone, and Volume” controls and a Tone toggle switch to bypass the tone circuit.
