Fender Japan Jerry Donahue Signature Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar 1986 Red
Built to the specs of Hellecaster’s guitarist Jerry Donahue is this 1997 Fender Japan Jerry Donahue Signature Tele Custom in very good condition. The instrument has a ding on the top, lacquer checking, and a few small dents/dings around the side edges. It features a maple neck and double-bound body, and a black pickguard and plastic parts. Electronics include a flat-pole bridge pickup with a great ’50s tone and a Strat pickup at the neck. A five-way selector switch allows for some vast tone options that include (position 1) a customized ’52 vintage tone; (position 2) an out-of-phase sound with both pickups engaged; (position 3) both pickups combined in parallel for a nice rhythm sound; (position 4) both pickups wired in series for a fat, beefy tone; (position 5) the neck pickup by itself for a true-to-life vintage Strat sound.
