Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom Super 400 Ebony 1991
A rare piece indeed, This 1991 Gibson Les Paul Custom with “Super 400 Inlays” was part of a group of guitars made early on in the Nashville Custom Shop between 1990 and 1992. Many would also consider the early ’90s Gibson’s “good wood era”, so not only is this a rare piece, it’s an excellent player as well and one of the better examples of a modern Gibson out there. This Custom features a mahogany body with maple top, a relatively chunky mahogany neck with real ebony fingerboard and “Super 400” inlays, a pair of Gibson 400 series humbuckers, Nashville tune-o-matic with stoptail, and Grover tuners. It’s hardware is plated in luxurious gold, and it has a Custom Shop decal on the back of the headstock. The guitar is in excellent shape for it’s age, the gold hardware is slightly worn. and it does have some surface swirling and light finish wear due to polishing, but very few dings, and it’s a super clean guitar! It Includes the original case. It was also PLEK’d in 2018 and the strap buttons have been changed (originals in case).
Includes: Original Hardshell Case
