Gibson Memphis ’59 ES-335 Reissue Vintage Sunburst 2006
Here’s a lightly played, pre-owned reissue of the second iteration of the Gibson ES-335, the bound “Dot Neck” ES-335 of 1959. The ’59 ES-335 was built with that classic looking “Mickey Mouse Ears” body shape and contours, a bound mahogany neck with dot inlays, single-ring Kluson tuners, and hot hide glue used for the centerblock and bracing. The guitar has a traditional “C” neck profile, two MHS humbuckers, and a historic no-tube truss rod. This ’59 335 is still in excellent shape with the original case and certificate included!
