Martin D-35 Dreadnought Natural
Introduced in 1965, the Martin D-35 featured a three-piece back; the company’s solution to a scarcity of quality Rosewood lumber. The three-piece continues today to show off the gorgeous grain of East Indian Rosewood. The D-35 model features a bound Ebony fingerboard and Ebony bridge that combine with the Black plastic pickguard for a gorgeous visual constrast against the Spruce top. The Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides combine with the bracing to provide a unique tone that’s still classic Martin, perfect for full strumming and single note lines. The Black and White Boltaron purfling, binding, and rosette complete the visual package on this classic Martin. This is a used example and it’s in excellent overall condition no notable damage.
