Murray Kuun Spitfire Jazz Archtop Electric Guitar Natural
This finely crafted instrument is a Kuun Spitfire archtop guitar, built by luthier Murray Kuun at his small shop outside of Johannesburg, South Africa. With his unique designs along with high quality wood and a vision for futuristic but also familiar features, these guitars are truly one of a kind. This Spitfire is a tribute in design to the brave fighter pilots of WWII with an inlaid Spitfire plane on the back of the body. It’s built with an Italian spruce top with Cherry back and sides, along with an African mahogany neck and Imbuia fretboard. There is a single humbucker pickup on the top with master volume and tone controls, along with a floating bridge in the traditional archtop fashion. It’s fitted with flatwound 12 gauge strings for a Jazz feel, and includes a custom-fitted hardshell case.
