Paul Reed Smith Private Stock McCarty 509 Electric Guitar Figured Walnut and Cocobolo Neck
We’ve been waiting ever so patiently for this run of PRS guitars to come in to The Music Zoo. This 509 is the very first Private Stock PRS guitar that we spec’d out in the Private Stock wood room of the PRS factory in Maryland. This is a 509 with a figured walnut top over a mahogany body, matched with a cocobolo neck and snakewood fretboard. The inlays are old-school birds carved from Koa, and the electronics are traditional 509 HSH pickups that give you a super wide variety of tones to get out of a single guitar. This is one that will be hard to forget!
