Seymour Duncan High Voltage Humbucker Set Aged Nickel
A humbucker from the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop, this is the High Voltage humbucker set! The High Voltage has a vintage flavor but still has the means to get mean and gritty. It’s similar to the Pearly Gates humbucker, but less low end with a Bluesier flavor – great for driving a cranked up Marshall. The pickup has calibrated Alnico II magnets to provide an even response between the bridge and neck pickups. Drop these pickups into an SG, dime that amp – and let it rip!
The High Voltage humbucker set features lightly aged chrome covers prepared with a unique process that differs from the aged nickel of the Duncan Antiquity humbuckers. This gives them a played-in look but is more resistant to the effects of corrosive sweat, which is an important consideration whether you’re giving it your all in the pubs of Melbourne or running across the stage at Madison Square Garden.
