Used 1961 Gibson Melody Maker Single-Cutaway Electric Guitar Sunburst
Nothing beats a good Melody Maker, and here we’ve got a great looking vintage ’61 Melody Maker in its single cut incarnation, which is the rarer of the two between that and the double cut version. The Melody Maker is built with two single-coil pickups, a slab mahogany body, mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard, and a simple wraparound tailpiece. This Melody Maker has its share of wear to it for a guitar that’s over fifty years old, but still plays great. There are some spots of fretwear and buckle rash on the back, and includes the original chipboard case, which is in fair condition – you would certainly want a more modern hardshell case to protect the instrument on the way to a gig.
