Used 1963 Silvertone 1449 Guitar & Amp-In-Case Set
These are always fun sets to run into, a great look into the mail-order guitar business and department store finds of the past! A Silvertone 1449 Guitar and Amp-in-Case Set! This is a duo from 1963, with the guitar and amp both in very good condition. The fretboard of the guitar is clean with no wear to the frets that would affect the playability. The 5 watt amplifier within the case has a built-in tremolo effect and still has the original 8” Jensen speaker. There is some patchwork in the lining on the bottom of the case, with some cardboard placed in there to protect the guitar. A very fun duo that has a ton of vintage mojo.
