Used 1964 Rickenbacker 325 (Rose Morris Model 1996) Electric Guitar Fireglo
The Rickenbacker 325 was made world famous by Beatles frontman John Lennon in their 1964 appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. While his model was a pre-production prototype with a solid top, this model was an export for Rose Morris – a guitar shop on London’s Denmark Street who bought their guitars directly from the Rickenbacker factory to keep up with the demand at the time. A very cool electric guitar history fact that makes this Ric even more unique in the stories we’re sure it could tell.
The three original “Toaster” pickups provide all of the jangle that Rics are known for, and the tremolo lets you get everything from surf vibrato to rockabilly warble. This instrument is in overall good vintage condition with finish checking, chips, and dings throughout, as well as some buckle rash on the back as shown in the photographs.
