Not only is this pre-owned Santana I from the very first year of production – it is #2 out of the entire run! The first instrument made was of course gifted to Carlos Santana, while the second was presented to Clay Evans of Paul Reed Smith, who at one point was President of the company. The guitar has made its way through one more owner, before landing at the Music Zoo – and still in pretty much unplayed, super clean condition!
The Mahogany body and neck promise fantastic sustain and thick tone, while the rosewood fretboard with PRS signature bird inlays provides great feel and looks to match. Santana Bass and Treble humbuckers are wired to master Volume and Tone controls with a 3-way switch for direct access to your favorite tones. The PRS tremolo bridge matched with locking tuners guarantees you’ll always play in tune.
