Martin’s Custom Shop creates some of the world’s best acoustic guitars, and this pre-owned limited edition Dreadnought is no exception! Martin combined features from two of their classic Dreadnoughts, the D-28 and D-35, to create this amazing D-28MC model. The classic big-bodied Dreadnought sound is augmented by the amazing Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, which provide stunning fullness and power to the tone, and a gorgeous look. The 35-style Cocobolo center wedge gives a beautiful visual contrast that’s mirrored on the peghead for a unified look. The 28-style Maple wood fiber purfling and inlay is complemented by gorgeous Flame Koa binding throughout, making this an amazing showpiece. The Italian Alpine Spruce top makes sure this isn’t just a one-trick pony, however. Chords and single-note lines jump out of the instrument with a projection that cuts through just about any mix. This instrument, one of only 50 produced, is in overall excellent condition.
