For their premium Master Series, Cordoba aimed to recreate some of the iconic models made by four legendary luthiers, honoring their invaluable contributions. This pre-owned model is based an instrument made by Hermann Hauser in 1937. Made famous by Andres Segovia, Hauser’s instruments elevated the classical music world’s opinion of the guitar from mere folk instrument to a true powerhouse of art music. This model features a 52mm nut width, providing easy playability for any situation. This instrument features a Solid Engelmann Spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, Spanish cedar neck, and an African Ebony fingerboard. You can feel the quality and craftsmanship in your hands a single strum, with a pure, focused fundamental and a clear string separation. This instrument is in overall excellent condition with some very light surface marks on the top and back.
