Used 2017 Fender Custom Shop 1962 Roasted Alder Stratocaster Heavy Relic Electric Guitar Sonic Blue
This pre-owned Custom Shop Strat was originally sold by The Music Zoo and has now come back to find itself a new home! It combines vintage style, relic looks, and modern materials for a guitar that looks and feels as good as it sounds! The maple neck and alder body have both undergone a roasting process that eliminates excess moisture and sugars for rock-solid stability and extra punchy tones. The appointments are all 60’s style, with a reliced Sonic Blue finish, a vintage-style six-screw tremolo, and the classic Strat controls. The handwound Strat pickups are 10% underwound for extra sparkle, but rest assured these pickups deliver gobs of pure Strat tone. The guitar is in overall excellent condition with all wear original to how the Custom Shop intended the guitar to look and feel. The pickups were removed at one point from the guitar for replacements, however the originals are back in the guitar.
