Friedman Amplification Fuzz Fiend Effect Pedal
This is the new for 2017 Friedman Amplification Fuzz Fiend, a fuzz effect with a high 220 volt circuit driven by a single 12AX7 pre-amp tube. The tube delivers a natural feel, which compresses, clips and has more harmonics than any solid-state signal path pedal could. The FUZZ control on the pedal as it turns clockwise is more saturated and square wave-like. The RAGE switch engages an unruly oscillation which lets you get as wild and noisy as you’d like. Onboard 3-band EQ lets you really shape the tone before the mayhem starts as well. This pedal requires at least 350-400mA of power, but if your power supply doesn’t have that option on board, the pedal includes a universal 12V power supply.
