Verellen Music Zoo Exclusive Zoo Keeper 50/5 Watt 1×12 Guitar Amplifier Zebrawood
Built by hand in Seattle, Washington, Verellen amps have been putting their signature branded logo on stages and in studios across the world known for their tank-link construction, one of a kind looks, and top-notch tone. This idea came as a collaboration between The Music Zoo and Ben Verellen – a high gain monster that we have dubbed the Zoo Keeper. The Zoo Keeper is essentially a Skyhammer model, shrunken down to a tame but still loud as hell 50 watts via EL34 power tubes, with a separate 5 watt power section which lets you dime the high-gain tones in your home or studio without having the authorities called.
The amp has a small box design, with two channels footswitchable. The first channel can go from a light crunch to a solid Marshall like chunk, while the second channel adds a ton of gain that’s great for lead tones. We gave it a Zebrawood front panel, because what would a Zoo Keeper be without stripes?
NOTE: Instructions to operate between the 50 and 5 watt modes. When going from one power mode to the other, the amp must be first in standby mode, then flip the 50/5 watt toggle switch to the mode you want to move to. From there, move the speaker cable to the appropriate speaker output. The 50 watt mode has two outputs for 4 or 8 ohms each, while the 5 watt goes to a single 8 ohm output.
